Preferred Experience: Candidates must have previously worked on a cruise ship and travelled abroad for work
Required: Candidate must have valid driving license.

Our Client seeks a Retail Store Manager to join their Operations Team. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you will contribute to delivering their exciting vision to set a new benchmark in duty free retailing.
Their award-winning stores are located in the newly opened state of the art L.F. Wade airport on the island of Bermuda.

Client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of their retail stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the stores, including staff supervision, sales performance, customer service, inventory control, and ensuring the store achieves its financial goals. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining an efficient and profitable store environment. To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience within a retail environment. Retail management, sales and customer service is required. You should also have strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills. You should be able to travel and be based overseas, and work flexibly, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management and Development:
Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new employees. Supervise, motivate, and provide guidance to a team of sales associates.
Conduct regular performance reviews and offer constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and productive work environment to ensure employee satisfaction and retention.
Schedule staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak theirs.

Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure high standards of customer service are met at all times.
Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Train staff to deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong customer relationships.
Create and maintain a welcoming and positive store environment for customers.

Inventory and Stock Control:
Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper organization of merchandise.
Conduct regular stock checks and manage replenishment orders.
Ensure all stock is displayed in an attractive and organized manner.
Minimize stock loss by monitoring product security and ensuring accurate stock records.

Store Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the stores are clean, well-organized, and complies with all health and safety regulations.
Visual Merchandising - Overseeing the presentation of products in the stores to maximize appeal and sales.
Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure all promotions, displays, and merchandising strategies are executed effectively.

Reporting and Administration:
Prepare performance data for upper management when required.
Keep accurate records of store activities, including inventory, staff schedules, and sales performance.
Provide input on purchasing decisions and stock management based on customer trends and sales data.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail management, preferably overseas.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
Merchandising skills about moving product under the guidance of the CEO Computer skills essential for onsite helping
