We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quarry Manager to oversee the daily operations of our quarry site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of quarry processes, and the ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Quarry Manager will be responsible for managing staff, equipment, and resources while maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency.

Essential
CIWM WAMITAB
MPQC NVQ in Quarry management
IOSH Managing Safely
Full UK driving licence
Extensive experience in a similar role in site management within the aggregates or waste management sectors

Desirable
Knowledge and understanding wash plants, crushing and screening operations
Knowledge and understanding of all relevant health and safety, environmental and planning regulations
Knowledge and understanding of environmental permits, waste acceptance criteria and waste returns
Planning and organisation skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure
Ability to effectively utilise a range of software including the MS office suite.
