The Job
This is for a senior lawyer who specializes in advising clients on complex litigation matters, including high-value disputes, commercial litigation, and regulatory issues.

Reporting to the Head of Litigation, they play a key role in delivering expert legal advice, managing client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts. The Litigation Partner is responsible for maintaining and growing a strong client base, ensuring the firm’s litigation services align with client needs, and collaborating with other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions. They are also actively involved in strategic discussions to help drive the firm’s growth and success.

Our litigation team takes on high-stakes cases, often representing clients in the High Court and beyond. They are known for our ability to tackle challenging disputes head-on.

What we’re looking for Experience:
At least 8-10 years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on high- value commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and complex cases.
Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with a proven track record in litigation practice.
Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, with experience handling high-profile and demanding clients.

Leadership: Experience in managing a team of lawyers, providing guidance, and mentoring junior staff.
Business Development: Demonstrated ability to generate new business and lead client pitches, along with a proactive approach to networking and industry visibility.
Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience in settling high-stakes disputes.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and accessible way.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to the firm’s strategic objectives and growth, with strong commercial acumen.
Technology: Proficiency with legal technology, case management systems, and MS Office Suite
